Youth Mentoring Program
The Youth Mentoring Program focuses on matching refugee youth ages 15 to 24 with mentors to pursue educational, vocational and social goals. Over the course of 6 months, mentoring matches meet weekly to work towards goals their mentees have selected. By connecting refugee youth with members of their community, the YM Program aims to cultivate integration and self-sufficiency while developing sustainable relationships. Common mentee goals include improving academic performance, practicing English, studying for the GED/HiSET, building professional skills, and exploring the community.
